Mindful Baking Group for Parent and Child
Be and Belong Counseling is baking! Join Maggie McEachern, LCSW in our virtual Mindful Baking group this winter season. You will nurture your connection with your child, build co-regulation skills through sensory-rich baking activities, and build community with other children and parents. We know that rhythmic, repetitive, and relational activities grow children’s brains, and we can’t wait to build resiliency in this playful and mindful space as our children heal from the last 18 months of the pandemic.
Recipe and ingredient list will be emailed the week before. Maggie will include additional sensory activities and visualizations that can be done with future baking projects. This group is for children ages 5-11 and can be done with up to two children per parent. Don’t miss out! Register by 11/29.
