Maggie McEachern MSW, LCSW, Theraplay Trained
Maggie (she/her) is a strengths-based, trauma-informed Licensed Clinical Social Worker. Maggie is clinically licensed and is also working towards becoming a Registered Play Therapist.
Maggie’s passion is working with children and teen girls who have experienced trauma, suffer from anxiety, or who feel overall emotionally disconnected from themselves and others. Maggie has a background in children’s yoga and mindfulness work. She taught children’s yoga in Ireland to children with sensory processing issues and children on the autism spectrum. Maggie currently leads children’s yoga classes at a local yoga studio, and is particularly passionate about working with children ages ten and under in the therapy space. Clinical theories and modalities that inform her work include Trust-Based Relational Intervention (TBRI), Polyvagal Theory and attachment theory, and somatic-based approaches. She has training in Theraplay and is working towards certification. In her free time, Maggie likes to travel, read, hang out with her dog (Carson), and do yoga.
